New beers for Father’s Day

Swannay is proud to be a family-run business, and after everybody’s experiences of the past year, days that celebrate family become even more important. 

Sunday June 20th is Father’s Day, and if you would like to send some beer to your Dad - or anyone else special in your life - then we have a new curated Taster Box, which is online right now.

The box contains 11 beers, gift merch and a pint glass, and can be shipped directly to the lucky recipient.* We can also include a gift note from you to them!

Excitingly, one of the beers featured is a brand new Mosaic and Simcoe IPA that we canned just yesterday. It doesn’t get much fresher than that.

Low Roller is a 4.9% India Pale Ale inspired by one of our favourite ocean backdrops here at Swannay. On days after a storm we often watch the low waves rolling in from miles away, before they burst against the cliffs and release their energy.

The beer is an unfiltered pale IPA with a clean malt profile that is uplifted by berry, mango and citrus aromas from the liberal use of Mosaic and Simcoe hops. Packaged in 440ml cans, it’s the perfect beer for the start of summer.

Finally for Father’s Day, our local customers in Orkney can share a pint with their families, the football, or both, thanks to our new 5 litre mini casks. 

In stock right now we have Scapa Special, Orkney IPA and Orkney Blast. And on Monday 14th June we will also have added Orkney Best and Island Hopping mini casks.
